 REPORT OF THE MOBILITY IN TURKEY

Short-term exchanges of groups of students

Sultantepe Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşçıoğlu Ortaokulu from Istanbul, Turkey  

13/06/2022 - 15/06/2022

Title: “Enjoy the Nature”

The program:

- welcoming by the Director and a local authority's member

- presentation of the teams with the movies about their country, city and schools and national educational system

- school tour to get acquainted with school

- the guests were distributed on age criteria in appropriate classes to attend classes. The foreign students attended science classes, geography classes, IT and English classes, art, technology classes when the pupils' made costumes for the International Celebration of World Environment Day (WED) 

- Workshop with the members of TEMA Foundation (The Turkish Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion, for Reforestation and the Protection of Natural Habitats)

its mission to create effective and conscious public opinion on environmental problems, specifically soil erosion, deforestation, desertification, climate change and biodiversity loss.

At the end of the workshop, it was made a report of the event with photos and impressions. The event was recorded and published in the Blog, Facebook and eTwinning sites.

- meeting in the main hall of the school where students from the working teams presented the video Lesson about water, air and soil protection. All the materials

Were collected and used by the partners for their science lessons.

- International Celebration at Bağlarbaşı Kültür Merkezi on the occasion of the World Environment Day. There were present more than 250 persons – students, parents, local authorities, NGO members, local community and media

- at the end of the festivity, the Coordinator awarded certificates of attendance to the guests.

- final questionnaires and interviews were applied to all the participants

Communications between partners will be in English, Spanish, Italian and Turkish.

Dissemination

-pupils presented to their colleagues the LTTA

-pupils and teachers elaborated a Common report to be published on project Blog, Facebook, eTwinning and local media.

-parents disseminated the events in the local community

During the whole mobility the students uploaded a daily journal about the activities done and at the end of the week they shared on the project platform (eTwinning) and social (FB, Instagram) digital products and pictures about what they experienced together, showing also all the skills they used for it (Digital Skills, Critical Thinking, Language Skills). Both students and teachers of the project were satisfied with the mobility results. Though students didn’t have the chance to host their foreigner friends at home due to the pandemic situation, they really enjoyed the time spent together and they strengthened their friendships.

 REPORT OF THE MOBILITY IN PORTUGAL

Short-term exchanges of groups of students

Agrupamento de Escolas D. Maria II from Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal

Title: “A healthy environment for next generations 

Topic – elaboration of Science Lesson “A healthy environment for future generations” - pupils made the video lesson about the importance of the eco-volunteering activities.

The program:

- welcoming by the Director and a local authorities members

- presentation of the teams

- school tour together with the host

- the guests were distributed on age criteria in appropriate classes to attend classes. The foreign students attended science classes (when the pupils finalized the e-magazine), geography classes, IT and English classes, art, technology classes (when the pupils made the posters and banners with ecological messages).

- the activity of planting flowers took place, shrubs and native trees in the aria around school. To this activity were involved members of the local authorities

office and an authorized horticulturist. At the end of this activity, it was made a report of the event with photos and impressions. The event was recorded and published in the Blog, Facebook and eTwinning sites.

- It was made a celebration on the ecological theme with posters and banners with ecological messages. In this action they were present foreign students and teachers and hosting pupils and teachers, parents and local community members.  

- meeting in the main hall of the school when the students from the working teams presented the video Lesson about preservation of the Biodiversity.

- final questionnaires and interviews will be applied to all the participants

- at the end of the Exhibition, the Coordinator awarded the certificates of attendance to the guests.
